The Project Engineer will work as part of a team to develop new and innovative automotive refinish spray equipment. Key responsibilities of this position include researching, designing and developing, testing and documentation of new products.
Assist nursing director with operational functions directly related to a designated service area(s) programs, which may include identifying, implementing and monitoring performance improvement measures, collecting and collating established metrics for the service area and monitoring quality outcomes. Identifies areas of opportunity, develops proposals for program development, strategies and revisions to existing programs.
The ECU Flash Programming Project Engineer will be responsible for developing functional requirements and interfaces for programming software, calibrations, and applications into ECUs within GM vehicles including Autonomous vehicles.
The incumbent will be responsible for project integrity and success against identified and agreed goals. Providing engineering and technical support to customers and internal departments, application engineering activities and documentation to support all activities.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure adherence to the project plans and schedules through meetings, follow-up documents, managing issues, facilitating team members jobs, and involving management support in overcoming problems.
The Product Chief for Seats will be responsible to ensure all program deliverables are met including but not limited to business and functional objectives, target setting, change management, program timing, test planning, and build support issue resolution for a Seat Program.
