This senior project manager will be working on projects under the Child Welfare program area; client has an IT solution which offers an improved case management tool for child welfare, especially for children's protective services (CPS), foster care and adoption cases.
Plan, execute, and complete information system audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments and develop helpful recommendations for a wide variety of clients according to the scope and schedule defined in the engagement.
Must be highly developed written, verbal, and presentation communication skills that effectively articulates complex technical concepts to a diverse and, at times, non-technical audience at all levels in the organization including senior leadership.
Obtain understanding around all components of system conversions to perform accurate SDLC assessments (i.e., data conversions, key control mapping, testing phases (i.e., SIT, FUT, UAT, etc.), security design requirements, etc.).
The role of Manager, Global Testing Services is responsible is responsible for the overall development and definition of testing strategy, test plans, test cases, testing resources, and test environments.
Drives all phases of the project life cycle while adhering to PMO standard practices, including but not limited to project conception, requirements definition, work breakdown, resource allocation and budgeting/forecasting, procurement coordination, risk management, change control, issue escalation/resolution and overall control of project scope.
Manage all stages of the IT projects assigned, including planning, implementing and monitoring activities. Work with IT line managers and team member to develop project plans and activities with appropriate tasks, resources, milestones, cost analysis and timelines. Provide all levels of project communications and work with project sponsors to resolve issues, address changes and identify risks.
Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous Information Technology projects from concept to completion using the standard PMI methodology; provide the necessary structure and leadership to drive all projects to successful completion.
Responsible for one or more critical applications which supports client's business and operations; oversee and provide technical leadership to a team that delivers all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and documentation, design, development, testing and support.
