The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
Replicate customer hardware issues in our labs and use appropriate test equipment to further diagnose; communicate customer feedback to factory to help improve Xilinx products and better align with customer needs.
Lead and manage technical interaction with customers including providing technical presentations, introduction of new solutions, driving the resolution of critical customer issues and tracking open/closed action items. Serve as the interface between the customer, product development and product management.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, install, service and troubleshoot industrial Electro/ Mechanical equipment used in the machine tool industry.
Establish and maintain a strong understanding of both existing key customer as well as newer strategic customers ECU development processes, especially as it relates to in-vehicle calibration automation and interactive ECU documentation.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and implement Operating Plan for regional machine tool service center; select, train, coach and develops field service and internal customer service staff.
The Field Applications Engineer has primary technical responsibility to the customer; this includes ongoing support of existing customers as well as identification of new business development among existing customer base as well as target customers.
