Collaborates with Physician and other caregivers of multidisciplinary team. Assumes joint responsibility with the medical staff to ensure that orders and plan of care, as they relate to the patient care, are appropriately carried out.
Conducts thorough medical histories, performs complete physical examinations (where indicated), initiates appropriate lab, radiology tests or other special tests required for evaluation of illness, and scrutinizes lab data on new and former clinic patients and hospital admissions to establish a record of the patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan with direct review by a physician.
In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate and supervise clerical/secretarial support function for assigned group. May include one or more of the following: interview, hire, train new employees; review performance/recommend wage increases; schedule and assign work, etc.
Under general attorney supervision, facilitates the discovery process, including: obtaining records, reviewing documents, interviewing clients, preparing trial materials, and summarizing and analyzing research Identifies, summarizes, and monitors relevant issues.
Provides information and answers routine questions of patients regarding their disease, including preventive health maintenance topics such as diet, weight, smoking and topics related to medical specialty, with basic recommendations.
The Assistant Prosecuting Attorney provides coverage for his/her assigned court as well as backup coverage for other courts; he/she will review and prepare cases, subpoena necessary witnesses for hearings, oversee discovery compliance, prepare and file motions, respond to motions, and meet with victims/witnesses/officers.
Performs most complex legal research (example: researches law utilizing various programs such as PCI, WestLaw and state specific web sites); incorporates research and responses into various legal databases used to store research.
