The Global Product Line Director is responsible for driving global growth and product line performance and profitability including OEM scanning & imaging engines, and decoder software for the Automatic Identification and Data Collection marketplace.
Responsible for planning, initiating and directing market research to determine trends, industry needs, and customer preferences, to optimize product and facilities planning, to develop targeted markets, to recommend pricing policy and to assist in the development of yearly and long range business plans.
Manages and directs the human resources function for 5-7 manufacturing facilities in order to achieve business unit / corporate objectives and to attract and retain an efficient and productive workforce.
Coordinate activities with stakeholder departments (including Sales, Marketing, Development, Services) to ensure that new offerings include the desired capabilities and launch on time and within budget.
Responsible for the technical and operational functions within assigned office(s) including compliance with company standards and industry best practices; to ensure consistent delivery of quality services including direct operational responsibility of an office in the location where the manager resides.
Establishes business processes and core capabilities aligned with customer focused strategies that fuel a strategic roadmap of connected or interdependent projects across SW Divisions and global geographies.
Own the portfolio management process for the product line, which includes evaluating each opportunity based on its strategic significance and fit for Eaton and determining which products will developed.
Directs, administers and controls the day to day operations and activities of dialysis facilities and programs in an assigned area ensuring compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures in order to provide high quality dialysis services and outstanding patient care to the community.
The Director of Product Management plays a strategic role in the global life cycle management of the companys product vision, roadmap, and execution for the overall product segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for voice of customer, business planning, product development, forecasting, competitive analysis, etc. This will be achieved through close collaboration with sales, engineering, executive management, and direct end user relationships.
