In this role, the selected candidate will develop product hardware/circuit designs to meet customer specifications and requirements; support our growth as a design engineer, in the area of Power Electronics.
In this role, you will be working closely with vehicle program teams, other Product Development engineering groups such as interiors and body/white, chassis, validation, program team, purchasing, marketing, and manufacturing.
This position is responsible for performing research and development, design, redesign, and product revisions as it relates to engineering and Company products.This person will be involved in product development and will work with manufacturing in a fashion to promote positive communication and collaboration.
As a thermal systems design engineer, you will be working with the engineering team to design, release, and deliver thermal systems, including those necessary for the functionality of various self driving systems throughout the vehicle.
In this role, you will be responsible for specifying requirements, execution and evaluation of designs, analysis, development, testing and control of major engineering projects where creativity and initiative are involved as well as a high level of independent judgment.
The Power Electronics Hardware Design Release Engineer is responsible for the design and development of electric vehicle power electronics and electrified vehicle systems and devices for passenger cars and trucks.
In this role, the selected candidate will review and understand customer requirements, specifications, and manufacturing constraints; create comprehensive engineering product design details, specifications, drawings and related engineering changes.
