Manages communications to supports institutional priorities, executive and special projects, and crisis communications. Manages and mentors the corporate communications team professionals. Researches, strategizes and garners media opportunities with a priority on national media.
Develop strategies and methods for media placement (identify and execute the distribution of news releases and media pitching opportunities), oversee media coverage monitoring and social media and coordinate and conduct media training for key personnel. Serve as the key contact and company spokesperson. Conduct an annual review and associated updates of the crisis communication plan.
