Research and exploration of user requirements, costs and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process; responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to the mentoring of less experience Business Analysts on the team; facilitate the communication of technical terminology at a level appropriate to the audience.
Work closely with diverse stakeholders, including infrastructure, data architects, application development, operations, analysts, project managers, and technical leaders, to understand customers business objectives and system requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and documenting the business needs of various business units, to include understanding their structure, processes, and operations, and interpreting their rules, requirements, and workflows to help the business achieve their goals and resolve their business challenges via information technology solutions.
Monitors daily securities possession or control requirements to ensure compliance with the Customer Protection Rule (15c3-3); proactively communicates deficits and any identified issues to the LOBs in order to reduce firm deficits.
Leads the collaboration with business customers to define scope for new projects, communicate the business vision, documents risks and assumptions, develop the delivery approach, and estimates cost and timings.
Assist site in the monthly and quarterly close process for operational review and accuracy; prepare and assist with forecasts and budgets as required, including being able to forecast a full balance sheet, departmental expenses and completion of supplemental information.
