In this position, you will be responsible for outside consultants to prepare domestic federal and multi-state and international income tax compliance in addition to review of internally prepared payroll, sales, property and other indirect tax compliance while preforming tax research and planning.
In this role, the selected candidate will complete financial transactions for grant accounts and departmental operating accounts, maintain accounting records and prepare financial reports and fiscal statements.
The role will involve working with Division/Regional Company finance and operations personnel to develop capital projects and related budgets, assist in procuring capital assets, assign blanket asset budgets for procurement for certain classes of assets (e.g., computers, cylinders), assist with the control of the internal order process for tracking capital investments, fund capital projects and create internal order numbers and assist in determining when projects can be capitalized.
The Accounting Analyst isresponsible for: (a) maintenance of the generalledger, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations; (b) monitoringinternal control procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley; (c) leading, training and directing staff at off-shore and US based BPO business partners; (d) performing variance analysis; (e) assist in the compilation and analysis of accounting andfinance information for the production offinancial statements, including the notes andreports.
The Accounting Analyst is responsible for: (a) assisting in the compilation and analysis of accounting and finance information for the production of financial statements, including the notes and reports both internally and externally to FCA; (b) monitoring internal control procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley; (c) ensuring proper reporting of related party activities; (d) performing variance analyses; (e) reconciling activities with related party entities.
