The Software Engineers will be responsible for application development and support including story elaboration, estimation, analysis, design, programming, unit/integration testing and code debugging leveraging the Scrum framework and XP practices.
Integrate low-level driver software with Ford application software. Perform testing of low-level software and Ford application software. Write test plan and develop appropriate test harness. Document test results, identify issues, and develop software updates.
Performs tasks related to the day-to-day operations of his/her group. Follows standards and operating methodologies to ensure the integrity, consistency, security, quality and performance of each technology across the organization.
Participates in the development of technology solutions which implement standards and performance requirements to maximize reliability, functionality, and integrity while minimizing costs and cycle time.

Understanding of DB Design, software architecture and OOP design principles and patterns.Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical professionals.
The Application Developer will focus on the developing, producing, implementing, documenting, maintaining, and supporting systems, purchased technology solutions, and/or operating systems and related software.
