Communicate with customers directly and by proxy through Account Teams to understand prospective customers current network architecture, perform needs' analyses, and produce strategic, cost-effective network solutions in response to bids and requests for proposals (RFP).
Focuses on all aspects of networking including engineering, design, installation, configuration and operating and maintaining network devices and network applications such as: Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switches, A10 and F5 Load Balancers, Arista Network Switches, CheckPoint Firewalls, VMWare NSX.
The Sr. Network Engineer position will be responsible for the definition of, design of, hardware selection and certification for all fiber commercial Enterprise services/product. This position will also be responsible for the oversight and ongoing mentoring/training of Network Engineers within the Spectrum Enterprise Engineering team.

The Senior Security Engineer will plan requirements, determine feasibility, define, design, implement, utilize and support complex security infrastructure solutions supporting the secure operations of company initiatives, products or services.
Installs new releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves network related problems. Perform system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure network integrity.
In conjunction with the Network Security team:Help maintain infrastructure security.Oversee the operation of the network-based portion of the security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IDP, and VPN.
Manage network capacity in cooperation with the Network Operations Center (NOC); handle escalated trouble calls and work closely with the NOC, engineering, field technicians, and telecommunications carriers to resolve service issues.
The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Network Engineering team responsible for providing network operations support for the United States Antarctic Program (USAP). Candidate must have a working knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including routing and switching or voice and collaboration.
