In this role, you will support achievement of operations accounting goals and objectives, including analysis of operations related accounting topics and support of regional accounting teams in identifying and concluding on operational accounting issues.
This person will play an integral role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by delivering key services such as Banking and Treasury, Billing and Accounts Receivable, Purchasing and Accounts Payable, contractor management, operational and administrative infrastructure.
In this role, you will assist in all accounting related activities such as AP, AR, budget, month and year end closes, etc; continuously improve the accounting departments policies, practices and procedures while practicing SOX accountability and following GAAP compliance.
The Senior Accountant reports to the CEO and is responsible for assisting in the monthly general ledger close, balance sheet and income statement variance analysis, cost center expense monthly analysis and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger, including sub ledger to ledger reconciliations and bank and multiple credit card account reconciliations.
The Senior Accountant evaluates complex transactions and records to the GL as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete. Supports internal customers, develops relationships with various client groups and maintains/updates current financial information.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide agile support to emerging business concepts and custom/alternative client contracts; review and create revenue recognition schedules in the accounting system.
In this role, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, execute month-end process and lead related review meetings. Propose recommendations for accounting estimates and adjustments. Prepare period-end financial statements, management reports and narratives.
