The Database Developer is responsible for using advanced skills and knowledge to analyze, design and develop innovative database solutions to meet the expanding business needs. Is also responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the database(s).
In this role, you will be responsible for database design, database implementation, and database administration using database management systems (DBMS) in a complex mainframe or network-based environment, similar in size and complexity to the client-server environment or web application, with skills in problem analysis, testing, and performance tuning.
In this role, you will be responsible for working with relational databases and SQL (Oracle). The successful candidate should have experience working with Customers, System Administrators, Application Developers, and End Users to build complex data-intensive systems.
In this role, you will work closely with systems engineers, testers and customers provide database administration throughout the development and maintenance life cycle. The selected candidate will evaluate installation of database software releases, patches and system upgrades.
In this role, you will review tables, relationships, queries, macros and Visual Basic Applications; create custom complex queries, reports and data ingestion scripts / programs and macros enhancing data flow, data usability while maintaining data integrity.
