The RN Quality Coordinator position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza in optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person.
In this role, you will promotes the optimal health, well being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the state nurse practice act.
In this role, the selected candidate will oversee admission, discharges, throughput, care quality and most shift operational activities; supervises nursing service activities in patient unit for the duration of one shift and/or in the absence of the manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient.
The rn unit registered nurse delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards.

In this role, you will provide safe and effective training and oversight of the delivery of home dialysis therapy to the patient in compliance with standards outlined in the Home Peritoneal Dialysis Policy and Procedure Manual, or/Home Hemodialysis Policy and Procedure Manual , as well as regulations set forth by the Corporation, state and federal agencies.
In this role, you will apply critical thinking, evidence-based policies, procedures, guidelines and competence to collaborate with the health care team to promote excellence in patient safety and quality outcomes.
