Create a design plan and lead specification production on a wide variety of projects which include site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and associated civil engineering activities.
Responsible for following and possibly managing project budget, work plans, consultants and schedule. Communicates with Project Manager regarding key deliverable dates, tracks fees, and labor costs for conformance to workplan.
Work with technical team lead and other teams members throughout the project life cycle to establish and adapt projects plans and milestones; own and deliver crucial elements of the projects technical deployment.
Develop, update, administer and implement security plans, instructions, policies and guidance, to include SOPs and PPPs for timely delivery to the government; ensure enforcement and proper implementation of security requirements pertaining to facility.
Leads large and/or complex engineering projects from initiation through to completion. Coordinates project planning, staffing, progress reporting, people management and troubleshooting for engineering projects. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
This position will be responsible for supporting several concurrent projects through managing financials and reporting financial analytics, providing meeting documentation, updating project plans, creating and managing power point presentations, developing process flow, developing communication documents, maintaining and reporting portfolio metrics.
The structures project engineer will develop products for and support the New Entrant Certification Team (NECT) in technical reviews (e.g. ERB, System Verification Review (SVR), Chief Engineer Review Board (ChERB), as appropriate), system-level risks, test plan reviews, certification reports, NECT IPT inputs, and CCB inputs.
