In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for paralegal duties which would include drafting of pleadings, filings with the court systems, handling correspondence, working with the courts and clients, scheduling , calendaring , and all the job functions involved to take care of your assigned clients.
In this role, you must have real estate paralegal experience with commercial real estate transactions, including the preparation of closing documents, review of title, survey and other due diligence, organization of pre- and post-closing documents, and management of commercial real estate legal transactions and closings.
The candidate should have experience of having worked on civil litigation cases from start right up to trial. Successful Candidates who have experience with large multi-party, document intensive would be good fits for this position.
The legal assistant will need to have very strong Word Processing skills, handle monthly client billing, coordinate travel, manage the attorneys' schedules, calendaring, assist with conflict checks, and have a strong attention to detail.
The legal assistant will be responsible for handling entity formation and management information, including drafting and filing documents for mergers, conversions an dissolutions, foreign qualifications and withdrawals.
The successful candidate must have excellent organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment; and, have excellent written and oral communication skills.
This position is a great fit for someone who loves to assist attorneys during trial. Experience running Trial Director is required along with the experience with class action cases and very strong technology/document management experience.
