The NOC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure, responding to system alerts and technology incidents, performing troubleshooting, standard change implementation and data center management for Mercury's IT infrastructure.
The Network Engineer will be part of the Network Development team and assist the senior network design engineers with the design and development of network components supporting the Command Control Battle Management System (C2BMC) Ballistic Missile Defense System Communications Network.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing applications software for small to highly complex computer systems or portions of large integrated systems and/or for providing analysis and engineering of functional aspects of software and hardware architecture and system support.
Supports the MDST Operations Task Order by performing engineering functions, lead/operator duties, and other tasks as assigned to include Integration of the MDST model through all phases of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC).
Prepares or reviews documentation with a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and effectiveness using common Gates Engineering tools & templates were available (i.e., include specifications, manufacturing procedures, ECRs and technical reports/analysis).
Under minimum supervision, this position is responsible for assisting in the discovery, development, implementation, and support of software applications across BSI, its affiliates and business units. This role will work with various teams across the organization to deliver quality application services and support information systems enablement.
