The Data Scientist will be focused on the modeling of complex enterprise research, algorithmic mining, data analytics research, collection and analysis of data, data triage, statistical and qualitative analysis of enterprise data in support of the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Enterprise and its facilities, and IT Services.
The selected individual will assist with project tasks focused on web based spatiotemporal data visualization and participate in the creation of other data products for a variety of clients within NREL and external to the laboratory.

As a Data Researcher you will be responsible for the research and management of S&P Corporate & Government, Structured Finance and U.S. Public Finance ratings dataensuring quality, completeness and integrity.
In this role, you will utilize statistical natural language processing to mine unstructured data, and create insights; analyze and model structured data using advanced statistical methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analyses.
