In this role, the selected candidate will conduct field inspections to insure work is in compliance with the construction documents and standard industry practice; perform construction observation, cost controls, payment applications, punch list management and project closeout.
The Land Construction Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager with ongoing land development projects and performs field functions. This position is in the field full-time, working with permitting agencies and their inspection personnel, outside consultants, and construction contractors.
In this role, you will manage all on-site client related activities. This includes coordinating information, client liaison and other responsibilitiesin accordance with project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications. Serves as the primary point of contact with the client for all site-related activities.
The ideal for us would be to find a candidate that is either from the area or wants to relocate to the Norfolk area; work from our main office for an extended period until they are acclimated to us and our systems and vice versa.
