The Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the revenue accounting team and providing technical expertise in revenue recognition. Youre responsible for actively managing the close process and providing leadership to the team of senior revenue accountants.
The Accounting Manager is involved in financial closing as well as external financial audits. The Accounting Manager is also responsible for internal policy development, acquisitions, and other accounting and leadership areas.
Provide tax technical support (15%) Work with other departments in providing tax research on income, sales & use, property, payroll, informational and other tax related questions that occasionally require tax department guidance.
The Manager will also be responsible for assisting with/providing information for financial reporting, both internal and external (FERC and SEC) as well as for budgeting and forecasting the Crude Oil Pipeline Operations of the business.
Managing the end to end accounting function activities of General ledger reporting, month end close and review, Balance-sheet P&L preparation and reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Vendor payables, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Bank reconciliations and US GAAP accounting and reporting.
The Accounting Manager will be an integral part of the accounting team overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, perform job costing and costing analysis, manage fixed assets, sales and use tax reports and assist with financial statements.
