The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patients/ residents/clients problems/needs, and evaluating the process and outcome of nursing care.
The RN is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law. Utilizing organizational resources, the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization; serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
The RN serves the clinical services of the department by providing primary clinical support to the physicians. The RN administers medication on the order of the physician. The RN completes all other physicians' orders in a timely manner.
In this role, you will assess patient's health status, collects and documents data to charts, determines diagnosis by analyzing collected data, determines and implements plan of care, and evaluates patient's progress.
In this role, you will implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate; serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
In this role, you will provide day to day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff, providing informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback input for the annual performance evaluation.
