Ability to read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications, ability to perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work, overall trade management and coordination.
This includes coordinating resources, suppliers, test equipment, and interfacing with customers to deliver prototypes, production equipment, and effective transition to field equipment. Candidates drive project closure using metric based systems.
The Project Engineer will be a member of the Wooster Engineering Department. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing projects, installation of new manufacturing systems and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems in our Wooster Ohio facility.
Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This may include performing and/or leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations, design and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and the writing, preparation, and review of related reports for the services provided.
Analyze loss over the course of the project and ensure that lessons learned are captured and included in the project and stage gate process to ensure loss elimination and best practice integration in future projects. Ensure a collaborative approach with appropriate pillar team involvement and shared learning.
Design, lean manufacturing, process design, analysis and improvement, materials management, inventory replenishment, selection and implementation, resource capacity and utilization studies, and operational efficiency.
Individual will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplined engineering team. Work closely with the Program Manager, assigned engineering team, manufacturing, quality and other departments as necessary to expedite project completion and most importantly meet the customer expectations.

This position is primarily responsible for the management of capital engineering projects including the preparation of designs, scopes of work, and technical documentation; the generation of cost estimates.
Develop control system solutions for hydraulic drive systems including: design drawings, control sequence of operation descriptions and equipment operating procedures, bills of materials, and be the primary electrical/electronic controls contact person in support of technical assistance in the installation, operation, and maintenance of the equipment.
