This individual will work within a 3 or 4 person team maintaining existing remote control products as well as supporting the expansion of remote control technology on CFU/ADS Caterpillar machine systems.
Define the control system software requirements, software specification and software structure for tillage applications. Implement the software architecture and strategies, requirements for closed loop control algorithms, and related software control logic.
Job tasks include working with software developers and system engineers to review and understand software functional requirements, utilize d-space test equipment to execute test, document results prior to flash file release for large engines C32-C175 used in large commercial applications.
