In this role, the selected candidate will develop product and technology requirements for current and future product developments through close coordination with: Business Development & Sales, key customers (in coordination with Key Account Managers, and Engineering).
Manage resources and priority to execute new product development road map defined by the business unit.Work with corporate R&D and internal business unit to ensure strong alignment between technology development and new product roadmap requirements in performance and timing.
In this role, you will focus on developing an intimate understanding of the market, building value-added relationships with target customers, and working with a global team of Marketing and Sales professionals and Field Applications Engineers to expand business with new and existing customers.

The scope is wider than the KTO Unit Category Manager. KTO Category manager will also act as the KTO representative in the KONE Global Category Team and acts as a chairman in all PD and CR steering meetings related to the category.
