In this role, you will be responsible to operates within the scope of practice defined by the state nurse practice act and delegates aspects of patient care to lpns and caregivers/aides, consistent with their scope of practice. The rn manages patient care by performing nursing assessments and collaborating with the nursing team and other disciplines, residents and families to develop effective service plans.
In this role, you will include, assisting with team member health promotion, education and training programs, and identifying workers' compensation cases, assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers' compensation files, and performing other duties as needed.
In this role, you will provide professional nursing care for physician practice patients following established standards and practices. Greets patients, takes initial information and prepares them for physical examination. Performs general nursing care as prescribed by the physician including administering medications (injections, IV therapy, distributing sample medications), performing therapeutic treatments, patient assessment and education.
In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of his / her license and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate and facility policies / procedures.
In this role, you will provide admission, case management, and follow-up skilled nursing visits for home health patients; administer on-going care and case management for each patient, provide necessary follow-up as directed by the Clinical Manager.
In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
