The Quality Engineer will be heavily involved in developing and maintaining Work Instructions, Control Plans, APQP, PPAP and PFMEA documents, and he or she is expected to participate and lead 8D investigations.
The individual will be responsible for implementing supplier quality assurance and quality system activities throughout the organization, and will work closely with suppliers to promote their quality systems.
Establish highly effective internal Audit and Corrective and Prevention Action (CAPA) program; collaborate with Production and Engineering to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
The individual will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality system activities throughout the organization, and will work closely with operations and engineering to promote our quality systems. These activities are to support Taylors quality, EH&S and productivity goals.
