The Maintenance Manager plans, organizes, and directs the plant maintenance functions including engineering, planning, mechanical/electrical leads, technicians, and stores inventory with the purpose of increasing overall equipment availability.
In this role, you will be responsible for activities related to quality including planning and implementation of the company quality management program. In addition, you will be a key stakeholder in the plant's World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities and initiatives.
In this role, you will maintain plant, facilities, buildings and grounds, equipment, utilities, custodial services, and maintenance information, continuously improving the state of maintenance and maintenance unit costs.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for supervising production operations, bargaining unit contract administration, managing plant maintenance activities, quality control, and planning and supervising facility expansions.
The position entails business development and marketing efforts, supporting and scheduling of staff, handling day-to-day operations and other responsibilities related to managing a Mechanical Engineering Department.
