In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible to analyze and review borrower credit information and structure, third party reports, property financial and physical information to determine deal viability;
The MAP Underwriter will be primarily responsible for underwriting and submitting assigned financing applications to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in accordance with its Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Guide, related HUD guidelines and Bank procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Develops and maintains a loan and lease portfolio consistent with the bank's guidelines for credit quality and pricing. Approves and/or denies loans within certain limits and makes credit structure and loan pricing decisions.
In this role, you will provide services such as investigation of the borrowing entity, analysis of the proposed structure and the various repayment sources as well as industry/economic factors affecting the request.
The MCU is primarily responsible for the independent underwriting and structuring of transactions. Prepares and presents credit packages for prospective opportunities, including quantitative and qualitative analysis of a clients credit quality, economic/sector analysis, repayment ability and key credit risk assessment.
Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg Z, Reg B, Service Members Civil Relief and FCRA/ FACTA.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible to monitor loan underwriting tasks performed by offshore resources as well as external third parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work product.
