The Solutions Architect II is responsible for the development of technical specifications through analysis of functional and business requirements, coordinating the high and low level design effort on projects, providing guidance and mentoring on technical issues, helping to define and document development standards and providing architectural oversight on projects to ensure that systems conform to GM Financial's architectural standards.
Prepare various technical documents including but not limited to system design, database design, integration design, prototype, UI design; perform development team lead and coach developers in each project.
Interfacing with other generalists and specialists in the MSFT sales and delivery teams (including partners, services, Internal Microsoft Product / Service organizations) focused on consumption of the Azure platform in ISV accounts.
The Architect is responsible for leading the specifications, design, and development of large-scale, Internet-based applications, frameworks and platforms. The Solutions Architect will work as a leading member of the Product Development team and, more specifically, the Central Technology Group to support and enhance the application architecture and the framework.
Responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems.
Participates In the design of low to medium revenue and low complexity custom services solutions; responsible for supporting more senior level architects in medium to large solution design opportunities.
