A Sr. Security Engineer Firewall/Network expert is responsible for managing all firewall rules and ACLs across the enterprise. This role requires a deep understanding of networking, TCP/IP, and application flow.
In this role, the selected candidate must have extensive experience with Network Security Solutions: design, implementation and operations; extensive expertise in firewall solutions (Checkpoint preferred).
Develops recommendations and courses of action to solve complex embedded cybersecurity problems. Assists architects and system developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate cyber security functionality to ensure uniform application of DOD security policy
Assesses and mitigates system security threats / risks throughout the program life cycle.Identifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives
This security engineering role will help identify and assess risks, recommend solutions, and then own the coordination, implementation, and configuration of them to deliver advanced tools and techniques the security team can use to provide assurance of its internal and customer environments used for online banking.
Manage 3rd party IPSEC tunnels and access-lists. IPSEC tunnels are a direct path into our network from unmanaged 3rd parties and is currently done by various people from various teams with various degrees of time spent securing the connection.
The Senior Electrical Engineer must be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design from concept through delivery to higher level assemblies as evidenced by multiple successful design completions (including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces,such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, UART).
