The position will require working with the marketing department as well as the sales management team to formalize presentation tools and materials to assist in the sales process. Sales Engineers interact with sales, account management, product development, support, training, and other departments in order to communicate our client demands and implementation challenges.
As a Sales Engineer, you will actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical adviser and product advocate.
Senior Sales Engineers will deliver product presentations and demonstrations internally and externally on all relevant SecureWorks solutions. They will coordinate with Product Marketing, Product Management and Sales Leadership to ensure that SecureWorks solutions are timely, appropriate and supported by strong sales tools.
Focus on Spectrum Enterprise Business Metro Ethernet, standard and non-standard solutions and will also work with various Spectrum Enterprise network engineering, operations, product, and IT organizations to develop unique service offerings.
The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing industry expertise technical support and presenting technical solutions to the sales and business solution teams that result in retaining and increasing revenue and clients.
Participate in industry functions, seminars, and round tables to stay current with industry; interacts with development to enhance/refine company products in areas of expertise; delivers high quality technical company presentations and demonstrations in area of expertise.
Collaborate with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.
