Creating the Simulation Development Plan, developing the digital system simulation including modeling of signal processing algorithms, review of third-party simulation models and integration with the system simulation.
Develop standard process for calculating product routing and lead times, fix current data accuracy issues, and work with the business unit to ensure new products are set up correctly utilizing proper standards.
Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between functional units.
Provides process engineering support to all Premier Silica plant operations. Identifies and executes substantial value adding studies or projects. Assists plant personnel in troubleshooting operational problems, optimizing yield and throughput, improving operating efficiency, and reducing operating expenses.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide technical instruction and direction to the manufacturing personnel (processes include extrusion, cabling, braiding, testing), sales, engineering, and maintenance.
Responsibilities will include simulation modeling and providing signal processing analysis to support the integration of a prototype fire control radar. Candidates should be familiar with radar digital signal processing techniques such as pulsed radar waveforms, Doppler processing, MTI, and Kalman filters. Familiarity with lab equipment such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers is also desired.
The person must have strong character and facilitating skills to share knowledge among the TWG sites while developing best practices. Robust process window and sharing of documented best practices will escalate implementation of digital printing technology across all sites..
