As a Test development engineer in the On Semiconductor Cloud Power Solutions business unit you will work closely with counterparts in IC design, applications and manufacturing to develop and deploy efficient and robust test solutions for On Semiconductor's products.
Lead design verification testing efforts including lab, chamber, ground and captive flight test. Analyze data from design verification test efforts. Present results during internal and external program meetings.
Develop datasheets, Eval board, application note, user guide, reference design and design tools,Deliver complete silicon validation plan, platform and test reports. Identify circuit bugs and potential issues, provide recommendations to design team to enhance IC performance.

Responsible for all aspects of IC design that includes sophisticated analysis of complex systems using hand and computer tools; IC transistor level analog design; digital design; IC CAD tools; layout supervision; analysis and design of signal routing and grounding systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with CCA product engineers on board stackups, creating routing documents for CCA designs, using electromagnetic field solvers to create electrical models for high-speed communication interconnects such as connectors, flex circuits, cables, and via structures.
In this role, the selected candidate will lead and mentor junior developers, support conceptual and detailed design of test positions and test adapters; and also integration and post-delivery support of that equipment.
Work across company with recognized subject matter experts to characterize company
systems within the modeling environment and develop missions & scenarios that surface discriminators between competing designs.
This position includes core network elements, such as routers and switches, as well as peripheral components integrated into the overall network solution, such as load balancers and firewalls, amongst other products.
