As a Business Development Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work directly with entrepreneurs and small business owners to sell HR related solutions that solve common challenges in the areas of HR & Compliance, Benefits & Benefits Administration, Workers Compensation and Risk Management, and Payroll Administration.
Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies within the assigned geographic territory to achieve individual, territory and company goals for sales, market share, call metrics, appropriate sample distribution, etc.
Serves as a mid-level inside sales representative for new and existing accounts through inbound and outbound telephone calls. Facilitates all aspects of the sales process to include identifying new opportunities.
Meet and exceed regional sales objectives through the management and implementation of all sales, marketing, merchandising, and advertising/promotional programs. Analyze work activities, and set performance measures in support of the Indirect channel's business plan.
The role will require building relationships at multiple levels within our key account customer, from Regional VPs, Regional Sales Leaders, Area Sales Managers, General Managers at the store level and field sales reps.
