In this role, the selected candidate must have an understanding of OOP & SOA principles, design patterns, industry best practices; understanding of Java concurrency, concurrency patterns, experience building thread safe code.
In this role, you must have experience in programming web sites and/or mobile applications. We program in Microsoft ASP.NET/SQL Server, PHP/MySQL and Java. We work with various CMS systems such as Idev, Sitecore, Sitefinity, Kentico, and WordPress and ecommerce platforms such as ROC Commerce, Magento and Hybris.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design (OOD), code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test and delivery.
This position supports the JSTARS Recap program. The position involves the adaption of a large complex radar software code base to the JSTARS platform. In addition to the modification of the existing code base, there will be development of new software functionality/capabilities in order to meet JSTARS specific requirements. The position involves both the development Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) Services and development of an Open Mission Systems (OMS) interface software to the radar. The software will be developed using the Agile Scrum methodology
