In this role, you will be responsible for
the planning, organizing, direction, supervision, and evaluation of all the nursing services provided in the facility. Ensures nursing department compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and implementation of nursing programs.
The Director of Nursing oversees the operational, personnel and fiscal management of the department with an emphasis on high quality, cost effective patient care. The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the care provided by Registered Nurses in the department, managing the departmental budget and staffing, and ensuring that patients, nurses and hospital administrators are satisfied with the operation of the department.

In this role, the selected candidate will direct the daily operations of the assigned Advanced Practice department, including being responsible for the vision and leadership planning strategy, goal and objective setting/attainment, budget and personnel management, quality and safety initiatives and policy development and implementation to ensure high quality services and optimal patient outcomes.
The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for overseeing and implementing infection control, pharmaceutical and physical/chemical restraining policies and procedures, and assures that committee recommendations are carried out.
The Director of Nursing is responsible for oversight of the daily clinical and administrative operations of the nursing department to assure that each resident receives the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with their comprehensive plan of care.
