In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for deploying applications globally, coordinating in controlled environments using Chef; configuring SVN distributed platform for multiple applications and automating builds using Jenkins or other tools.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing infrastructure-as-code, deployment, administration, and governance of shared services within our predominant cloud infrastructure provider, using release automation to deliver in a software driven manner.
The successful candidate must have a proven experience with Linux and UNIX and will be able to provide examples of how he or she has used automation to create efficiencies and integrate with APIs to connect tools and enhance functionality.
In this role, the selected candidate will participate in the design and implementation of a nationwide carrier solution; installs, configures, and maintains Linux operating systems and client/server access control (IPA).
Work closely with application/operations teams to gather requirements and build functionality in a collaborative and agile fashion; write scripts to automate common system management and operational tasks.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop all necessary Unix/build scripts required for deployment automation etc; engage and schedule functional resources in support of deployment, implementation and verification.
In this role, the selected candidate must have working knowledge on using serverspec, chefspec and developing test cases; working knowledge on Linux / AIX platform and OS patching and release solution with Chef.
In this role, you will design and develop automation workflows, performing unit tests and conducting reviews to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance, and assessing the overall quality of delivered components.
