The Data Architect is also expected to establish data architecture governance principles, create models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture, create diagrams showing key data entities, and create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architectural vision.

Responsible for Teradata DBA and System support services to cover Development, Test & Production environments including proactive monitoring, SQL tuning, code promotion, database design, backup/recovery, database operations and support, capacity planning and workload management (TASM).
Sr. Database Analyst / Administrator candidate must possess extensive, proven technical development expertise in an evaluating, developing and administering the complex database architecture as well as would lead database architecture, logical & physical database design, backup & recovery, periodic performance tuning and develop database performance profiles, including monitoring and ensuring security & database related integrity of 3-tier architecture and multiple external interfaces.
Must have a good exposure to UDB DBA maintenance activities like reorgs, runstats, back-up, restore, expanding and reducing the tablespaces; experience in closely working with application performance issues in production environment.
Responsible for the identification and resolution of information flow, content issues and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models. This position identifies opportunities to reduce data redundancy, trends in data uses and single sources of data.
