The Controller is generally responsible for the accounting, AP, and payroll functions of a national portfolio of hospitals, whose services are focused on the care of adult and geriatric patients who suffer from medically complex illnesses or injuries and/or exacerbation of a disease process.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist in the preparation of financial reports and ensuring proper financial internal controls are in place: develop, plan and recommend practices for proper financial control.
The selected candidate will assist the corporate controller with the understanding and compliance with all corporate, partnership, debt and other contractual documents (including applicable management agreements) for all assigned entities.
The Controller is responsible for leading the accounting staff associated with the functions of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, reporting, budgeting, and tax.
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for accounting and due diligence for acquisitions, be a liaison to the regional offices; and implement and maintain policies and procedures for the company.
