In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients admitted to Level I, II and III Trauma Services by facilitating, coordinating and enhancing care through clinical expertise, communication and implementation of quality management protocols to minimize complications, maximize effective communications and ensure optimal use of patient and the company's resources.
Collaborate in the development, implementation, and evaluationof standards of care and professional practice in collaboration with members ofthe health care team, formulates care plans and provides direct, continuouscare for patients.
Demonstrates ability to critically think, problem solve and make independent decisions supporting the clinical appellate process. Demonstrates proficiency in use of medical necessity criteria sets, currently InterQual®, as evidenced by Inter-rater reliability studies and other QA audits.
