In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for preparation of inventory adjustment journal entries; coordination and reconciliation of annual physical inventory and design and implementation of a cycle count program.
In this role, you will assists in the preparation of various financial reports such as Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable reconciliation sub-ledgers and balance sheet accounts expense analysis daily/monthly cash balance reporting monthly bank reconciliation and depreciation records.
The Accountant II performs according to established procedures complex accounting activities relating to internal control systems, maintenance of complete and accurate general ledger, financial statements, and resultant managerial reports by paying attention to small details as miscalculations can lead to misinterpretation.
This position reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for financial statement preparation, monthly close duties, balance sheet and P&L analysis, account reconciliations, audit support and other projects as assigned.
The Accountant II assists in the maintenance of one or more accounting systems within the assigned function(s). In compliance with company policies and procedures, the Accountant II reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations, including but not limited to Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP).
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports; develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
In compliance with company policies and procedures the Accountant I applies Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the performance of central accounting activities related to one or more of the following functions, including but not limited to: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue reconciliation.
As a Surety Account Analyst, you will be a key contributor and team leader on our Professional Advisory Services team, and will handle a variety of responsibilities, such as assessing the financial and operational strength of our accounts, including their reporting capabilities and the quality of their projections.
