As an Applications Developer work with established technical specifications to develop and deliver defined functionality under the supervision of an application Technical Lead following disciplined SDLC processes. Read and understand business requirements, write functional requirements, develop detailed technical designs, and build / unit / system test application code.
In this role, the selected candidate must be an expert on industry best practices for Asset Management processes, including Software licensing and Hardware; experience implementing helpdesk tools such as remote control & chat and integrating with Service-Now.
In this role, the selected candidate must have a good working knowledge of document composition and file based integrity systems; ability to create forms using GMC Inspire software; ability to generate electronic documents using GMC Inspire software.
The selected candidate will collaborate with other analytical functions and chemistry to develop future custom software as needed. Interface between Chemistry and IT to resolve chemistry specific issues and implement software upgrades.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience in designing and developing highly scalable web applications; hands on working experience in Websphere 6 and above, Java 6.0, Struts 2.0, Eclipse-IDE, designing multi-threaded application.
