In this role, you will perform a complete assessment of assigned patient's ongoing physical and emotional status, level of competency, home environment, safety factors and family support available to assist with care and needs of patient.
In this role, you will requires day/evening shift and some rotation to wilmington hospital, as needed. 8 hour shift and must be flexible to work any hours between 7a-11:30pm. Holidays and weekends per the department guidelines.
In this role, you will utilizes the case management recipe to facilitate comprehensive nursing assessment, planning and care to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care and regulatory requirements.
The RN - Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned service area.
In this role, you will provide Utilization Management activities and functions by using MTF-specific Quality Improvement processes to identify areas for review from data, suspected problem areas, and input from departments/services within the facility.
