Ability to read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications, ability to perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work, overall trade management and coordination.
Execute packaging technology strategies in the plants, including growth initiatives, quality improvements, productivity/cost-reduction activities, troubleshooting activities and general packaging support as needed.

This Mechanical Engineer must be proficient with SolidWorks 3-D CAD design and have past work related experience designing heavy equipment (hydraulics, pneumatics, chain driven gears, and large scale mechanical power transmission).
This role will also expand to supporting landing gear control system development efforts, served by the system integration organization. Develop and support a model-based approach to requirements development and system level testing.
