The Project Manager is responsible for delivering IT projects to schedule, budget and quality; the role requires a mastery of technical knowledge of project management inter-related process stages, i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the development of estimates for the enhancement or development effort in planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
This role leads people who manage projects involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of products or internal system enhancements. Monitors programs/projects through the full project lifecycle interfacing with internal customers or department personnel.
In this role, the selected candidate will independently drive the activities of the project, develop a schedule for project milestones, maintain project scope, set task deadlines, monitor staff progress, schedule and conduct meetings as required, develop and communicate project status, proactively drive the resolution of outstanding issues and project variances.
