Provide to the afo, lessons learned from the operation of the anniston sdc for chemical munitions processing, conventional munitions processing, surrogate chemical processing monitoring, and emissions testing for use and consideration at other program executive office (peo) acwa facilities.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare engineering feasibility studies, the economic analyses of projects, cost estimates & specifications, the assessments & selection of equipment & materials, etc.
Represent the facility from the process safety perspective during third party audits, such as ECAP (company sponsored internal audit), insurance, EPA and OSHA. Respond to any findings from these audits relating to process safety.
Process improvement and production support to Manufacturing Facilities through the company; responsible for improving manufacturing reliability, building employee capability, and creating operational stability.
Facilitate the continuous improvement process by which projects and activities are identified, defined, developed and prioritized. Participate in downtime maintenance and readiness planning and project management activities.
Applies various quality tools and performs root cause analysis to solve problems. Leads company initiative on Lean activities which includes leading small group activities (SGA) and kaizens for measureable improvement in safety, quality and productivity.
Identify and develop new prospects for industrial gas usage on their operations, equipment, and end markets served; focus on prospects operating in growth markets and with solid cost positions, and in geographies of priority for Air Products.
