The HR Manager-EMS plans, designs, implements and evaluates two functions; Leadership Development and Cultural Development. This position will focus on programs, processes and practices to engage, train, and develop employees and continuously improve the culture at Grady Health System.
Responsible for conducting confidential investigations regarding employee relations concerns, complaints. Seeks guidance as needed from division/corporate human resources on risks, resolution and actions.
Ensures unit complies with all federal, state and local laws, regulations and guidelines concerning human resources (i.e., Federal and State Minimum Wage Laws, Affirmative Action, Immigration Reform Control Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Act, FMLA, ADEA, ADA etc.).
Providing Human Resource support for multiple sites in the areas of recruiting, training, salary administration, HR policy administration, HRIS, payroll, benefits, performance management and organization development.
Manage human resource for client groups assigned in areas such as manager coaching/advising, employee relations, training/development, talent management and staffing compensation administration, and other HR areas, partnering with HR subject matter-experts and Core Management Team.
Actively participates and leads plant safety program. Leads DuPont STOP program and responsible for managing all safety related documentation including accident reporting and OSHA documentation/record-keeping.
Provides coaching, consulting and problem solving in areas including but not limited to recruitment and selection, performance management, leadership, management and employee development, succession planning, employee relations, training and policy/procedure interpretation and implementation.
Knowledge of and experience in HR and Payroll, Safety rules and training; experience in Benefits and any other employee related services; illing to travel between facilities for training and development.
