In this role, you will provide consultation and problem solving on organizational design and development, change management, recruitment and selection, performance management, employee/managerial development, succession planning, employee relations, training, and policy/procedure interpretations.
Ensures unit complies with all federal, state and local laws, regulations and guidelines concerning human resources (i.e., Federal and State Minimum Wage Laws, Affirmative Action, Immigration Reform Control Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Act, FMLA, ADEA, ADA etc.).
Knowledge of and experience in HR and Payroll, Safety rules and training; experience in Benefits and any other employee related services; illing to travel between facilities for training and development.
Manage day-to-day employee relations; maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting requirements and regulations affecting human resources and proactively ensure business practices are in compliance.
Actively participates and leads plant safety program. Leads DuPont STOP program and responsible for managing all safety related documentation including accident reporting and OSHA documentation/record-keeping.
Identifies breaches of culture/values that impact workplace. Investigates associate relations issues and partners with managers for resolution. Analyzes turnover to identify trends and develop retention strategies. Ensures adherence to company policy, procedure and employment law.
