Build and maintain collaborative relationship with GBAM stakeholders, Procurement Team and key support partners. Share ownership and accountability for driving and delivering results through agreed upon strategies, projects and tactics.
Monitor and report on Excess to Policy inventory levels and execute plans to reduce those materials to policy level; manages the cycle counting program, including design and implementation of the program and any needed changes.
The selected candidate will supervise/manage the Inventory Control department members ensuring company policies are enforced; maintain integrity of inventory records while following established procedures; analyze complex transaction histories in effort to reconcile discrepancies.
Responsible for managing the Division operational inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels for immediate production items and forecasting for future requirements. Will establish and implement standard/automated delivery procedures for just in time supplier stocking items.
The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for incoming, outbound, warehousing, and movement of inventory through the manufacturing process. Working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Production Planning, and Quality, the Inventory Control Manager will develop inventory tracking and inventory accuracy programs, and ensure proper management of aging and excess stock.
This role will be responsible for negotiating complex deals from inception to completion; performs research to obtain market knowledge, uses experience to develop and execute intricate procurement strategies and assigns roles and responsibilities to BAC team members.
Coordinates activities and supervises all personnel assigned to the Materials Control Department. Has direct supervision of Purchasing, Production Planning, Warehouse, Sterilization and SAP/APRISO System.
