The Clinical Nurse Educator reports to the Director of Women's Services. Accountability will be measured by performance standards, goal achievement and/or quality improvement activities and will be summarized in performance evaluation and counseling.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist patients/caregivers in understanding and implementing treatment protocols prescribed by the target physician; reinforce treatment expectations established by the physician and review potential product benefits and side effects.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide point-of-service support with key healthcare providers, clinics within a specified geography in order to enhance disease knowledge, support the patient therapy selection process, coordinate and provide training, assist patient pull through, enhance compliance and improve adherence.
The Interventional Radiology Quality Coordinator/Nurse Educator is a clinically competent, bachelors prepared registered professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the surgical patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluations.
